Until June 2015, the Willis Tower in Chicago was the last entry in this list, as number 10. With the opening of the Shanghai Tower, Willis Tower was suppressed from the top 10 list and became number 11, but it is still well deserve to be mentioned here

At the time of its completion in 1973, it was the tallest building in the world, surpassing the World Trade Center towers in New York, and it held this rank for nearly 25 years. The Willis Tower is the second-tallest building in the United States
