GREAT-ER desktop 2.0 and GREAT-ER web software (2003), the Sediment Module (2006), as well as GREAT-ER desktop 3.0 (2011) were developed as part of the European Chemical Industry (CEFIC) Long range Research Initiative (LRI).

This website is dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and colleague Tom C.J. Feijtel (1959 - 2005), outstanding environmental scientist and father-founder of the GREAT-ER project.
